Academic Fees

Academic Fees Include

  • Access to network printers and photocopiers for school work

  • Courses are taught on campus, in a small classroom size setting with our very own secondary school teachers

  • Academic school courses, assignments, test, examinations and programs

  • Cover consumable supplies, syllabi, classroom guest lecturers, preparation, distribution, and supply of classroom materials

  • Use of school computers, fees for science lab materials and art supplies

  • Credits towards highly recognized Ontario Ministry of Education Ontario  Secondary Diploma

  • Academic advising for NCAA, Clearinghouse, Usport Colleges and Universities

Hockey & Travel Fees

Hockey Fees Include

  • Inclusive sports program with coaching

  • Strength & conditioning program, Fitness assessments                          

  • Games, Showcases, Tournament and Referee fees               

  • Ice times for practices and games              

  • Team Transportation costs: Traveling, Hotels and Meals (see note 1)

  • Advising supports with Junior, NCAA, USport hockey.

  • Use of training facilities

  • Living Accommodations

  • Administration of residential staff and program

Payment Schedule

Ontario Hockey Academy offers the convenience of payment plans. Tuition and fees may be paid by cash, debit, cheque, online bill payment, funds transfer, or credit card. Non refundable deposits for new students are due upon acceptance; non refundable deposits for returning students are due by March 1 for the following school year.

Possible Extra Fees

Sundries and Other Expenses

Individual charges vary widely among students, due to different travel distances from the school, athletic, outdoor and cultural interests, and spending habits.

Extra charges may include: Canadian student visa, clothing and supplies, sundries and snacks, professional medical services not covered by your health plan, dry cleaning and mending services, travel to and from home and taxis to medical appointments, SAT testing and university admissions applications, graduation pictures and ceremony, yearbook, damage charges to room, adventure trips, NSF cheques, and other optional events as they occur. 

Personal discretionary charges (e.g. long-distance calls, taxis, shuttles, laundry, etc.) and spending habits are extra to student and families. Other excluded expenses, but are not limited to: medical insurance, laptop, athletic therapy, optional trips and activities, incidentals required and paid by the school to assist with student illness and injuries.

NOTE 1:  Airfare to hockey Tournaments/Showcases/Playoffs are additional expenses and will be billed to families
