ELITE canadian AAA HOCKEY PROGRAM

Ontario Hockey Academy teams are Hockey Canada sanctioned and OHA is registered as a Hockey Canada Residential Sports School. Our Major Midget AAA teams play in the Central Junior Midget Hockey League. The U18 Boys' Junior Prep team play 50 plus games in showcases and tournaments, predominately in the United States, and our Midget AA team play in the HEOAA league.

 

We are the ONLY school in Ontario, Quebec, and Eastern Canada accredited with the Ontario Ministry of Education that plays in a sanctioned AAA league.

PLACEMENT IN NCAA and JUNIOR HOCKEY       
In the past four years, the Ontario Hockey Academy, has placed more than 12 players into NCAA, over 15 players to Major Junior "A", over 50 players in North American Junior "A" hockey leagues including 12 in the highly recruited  Canadian Central Jr Hockey League (CCHL) (One of the most scouted Junior Leagues in North America.)

BOY'S HOCKEY AT Oha!

The Ontario Hockey Academy hockey program is carefully designed to provide boys with outstanding training and maximum exposure. Today's requirements for player development mean that, for most boys, junior hockey is a required step to collegiate hockey.

 

The Academy employs a full time hockey advisor to help students navigate this system. We get our student athletes seen by playing them in some of the biggest and most prestigious tournaments and showcases in Canada and USA. We get the the right players to the right teams! 

FIVE TEAMS FOR BOYS!

Students progress along the track according to their age and ability. 

Opportunity for elite athletes to fast track to a higher level!

PREP

A team for players who have reached the highest testing level, are top statistical players, and who have proven themselves as a game-changing player. The team plays a 20+ season in the CSSHL, as well as a 16-game season in the ECEL Premiere Division. In addition, this team will play various tournaments and showcases including the World Sports Challenge, the Beantown Classic, and more.

The focus of this team is to provide exposure to the NCAA and various Junior leagues, and  to maximize their development prior to university.

VARSITY U19

A team for 17 and 18 year-olds. The team plays a 50+ game  schedule in Canada and across the eastern United States. In addition to numerous tournaments and showcases, the team will play in the East Coast Elite League Showcase division and Canadian Sports School Hockey League events.

 

The focus is exposure to various Junior leagues and universities across North America.

U18 AAA

A team for 15 and 16 year-olds. The team plays a 40+ game regular season schedule in the HEO AAA league and two or three tournaments in  Canada.

 

Players serve as affiliate players to Prep and Varsity U19. Being on this team introduces Canadian Major Junior (OHL/QMJHL) and various JR A leagues in Canada.

Junior varsity u17

A team for 15 and 16 year-olds. The team plays a 40+ game schedule including tournaments, showcases, and exhibition games. Players serve as affiliate players  for U18 AAA and Varsity U19. This increases the players game totals. 

 

Focus is on increasing strength, speed, and hockey IQ, and  building a base for future development.

U15 AAA

A team for 14 year-olds (and possibly high-performing 13 year-olds). The team plays a 30-game regular season schedule in the HEO Bantam AAA league, as well as five Canadian tournaments.

 

Emphasis is on individual development, including speed and strength, and introducing team concepts.
